In India I learned how to give an elephant a drink.

Hi Jessi! How is your house? What do you do for fun in India? What is school like there? Who are your friends? Is that you in the picture giving the elephant a drink?

I miss you. Hannah.

Hi Hannah, I like our house. I switched bedrooms because I wanted to sleep in the one the cats like. I play soccer and take Tai Kwan Do lessons. I like to draw. Math in school is hard. They are way ahead to multiplication with carrying. Preston and Jimmy are my friends. They came from Minneapolis too. That was the elephant trainer giving it a drink. I got to pet a baby elephant though.

I miss you too. Jessi

Hi Jessi,

I have been thinking of you. It has been a busy winter with hockey every weekend. The snow is finally almost gone and this weekend it was warm enough to play with no jackets here. Yeah for spring!

I was wondering if you could send a post card to me at school. I go to ISLA. I can send you the address or you can find in on the school's website at www.isla.k12.mn.us (my mom added that). We are trying to get post cards from interesting places around the world. Right now we are talking to a scientist in Antarctica.

I have been learning to divide and multiply and do fractions. I think it can be frustrating sometimes, but I am getting the hang of it. It sounds like we have a lot in common at school.

I would love to hear more about what you are doing in India.

Your Friend,

Hannah

p.s. I wish we could go swimming together at Lifetime!

Hi Hannah, Jessi will be in Minneapolis for 4 days in May and hopes to see you. She's still asleep this morning but I'll let her know she got email from you. I'm sure she'll be happy to send a post card. We don't have your direct email address. Can you send it to ThorneInIndia@gmail.com Allison
