My Advice to India

As I leave India, I feel compelled to render an opinion.  My advice to India is to totally ignore or perhaps, even better yet, ban the pervasive T.V. adds for skin whitening products. Many of those companies who are so diligently trying to convince you that lighter is better, are the exact same companies that sell tanning or darkening products in other countries such as the U.S. They are seeing India as a place to imbue a poor body image on another billion plus people simply to generate a profit on a product that nobody needs. Not to mention, I cannot imagine beaching agents are all that beneficial to the skin.  Just saying... -Allison
